Online simulation of the unmatched transmission line (standing wave) circuit

This is a simple circuit showing two unmatched transmission lines. The first line is 75 ohms, the second line is 500 ohms. Waves traveling along the first line reflect at the boundary, causing a standing wave on the line, which is a wave that oscillates but does not move. It is actually a combination of two waves (the original wave and the reflected wave) traveling in opposite directions. The second line is properly terminated, so there are no reflections on it.

This page is a utility for simulating unmatched transmission line (standing wave) online with specified initial values.

The online circuit simulator allows you to model circuit behavior in real time. You can change circuit parameters, add new elements, and observe their interactions. This is a useful tool for learning and experimenting with electronic circuits.
